Thank you for talking to me today about the options replacing your existing sink.
Copper is an excellent choice for a kitchen sink, and we’ve been handcrafting them for over two decades.
Havens sinks are made exclusively from Pure Copper, meaning they are naturally antimicrobial, easy to clean, and will last forever.

The option to replace your existing sink with a high quality copper sink is the easiest solution, without having to modify or replace the countertop.

No modification to cabinets or special install is required. The installer would simply be able to remove the old sink and install the new copper sink.

Thanks for requesting a quote from Havens for your custom sink.
My name is Alex, and I am happy to help you find a solution to this situation.
 
Replacing an existing sink with an irregular bowl configuration allows for a few different options, I am going to explain these briefly.
 
The first option is to have the new replacement sink made out of copper.
This is the simplest option, as we are able to precisely match your existing sink’s dimensions - a template will be required for this option.
 
The second option is to go with a topmount/drop-in style sink. This can be done in copper or stainless, and will cover your existing countertop opening. Typically with a topmount sink, a rear deck will be used to accommodate the faucets.
 
The third option is to have your countertops squared up to accommodate a rectangular sink.
This isn’t always an option (as cracking stone could be an issue), but is worth checking in to with local counter fabricators.
 
The replacing a sink situation is one we encounter on a daily basis from customers, and we are experts in finding the best solution. Please note: It is important that the installer confirms and approves the dimensions before we begin fabrication.

Once fabrication begins, we are unable to make dimensional changes to the sink.

 

We ask that the finalized specs are reviewed and approved by signing off in “Client Approval” section of the PDF.

Good news - your template kit is on the way by USPS Priority mail, and should be arriving in the coming days.

The template kit will include the 2 items needed to create a countertop template, so we can fabricate the custom sink.

 

Arriving in a long brown mailing tube, the contents include:

1 – Xacto Knife

2 x  Rolled up tracing papers (an extra if needed) – inside a smaller brown storage tube

1 x USPS Return Mailing Label

 

The templating is a 10-15 minute task easily accomplished by you and/or the sink installer.

Once the template is completed, please roll it gently into the smaller storage tube, to place inside the larger shipping tube.

Seal both ends of the tube, and place the return shipping label on the outside of the larger tube over top of the original shipping label.
